Adema Alternator and Starter Service was founded in 1955 by Garret Adema. It started out in Grand Rapids, MI and moved to Coopersville, MI in 1967. Al and Jim Talsma bought the business in 1995. Since then the company has enjoyed continued growth with the newest products and the latest technology available.

Ademas offers a wide range of rotating electrical services to a variety of customers. Some of our customers include trucking companies as well as truck parts distributors, school districts, city and county fleets, marinas and boat dealers, parts stores and warehouses, forklift dealers and OEM distributors as well as the "do it yourselfer".

We employ 10 people and have over 125 years of combined experience in our West Michigan facility. All of our technicians have gone through lengthy training and received certification and letters of achievement from the Electrical Rebuilders Association and the Automotive Parts Rebuilders Association.

PRODUCTS:

All of our alternators, starters and generators are remanufactured to meet or exceed OEM specifications. Each unit is fully load tested on state of the art computerized load simulators. This insures every unit stays within specifications and a consistent quality standard.

SERVICES:

Ademas can handle all your electrical and rotating electrical needs. We offer pickup and delivery service to commercial accounts in the Grand Rapids, Holland and Muskegon MI areas!

We remanufacture alternators, starters, generators and DC motors for auto, industrial, agriculture, truck, marine and power sports industries. In addition to remanufacturing we stock new units from several different product lines.

We can exchange or custom rebuild a special unit. Most R&R units have a 24-hour turn around time. Whether it is an antique or something from overseas. Powder coating, chrome units and custom cables are also available!
