In 1958 the Zarlingo family moved from Rifle, Colorado to Grand Junction, Colorado.  Lee Zarlingo began operating Lee's Standard Service at the corner of 7th and Main Street in the downtown area.  In 1972 Lee passed away and Bob Zarlingo took over the family business.  Five years later Larry Zarlingo joined the business.  Together the brothers operated the downtown location along with the Amoco Station at 750 Horizon Drive.  In 1982 the brothers opened Zarlingo's Automotive Service Center adjacent to what is now Zarlingo's Diamond Shamrock.

The Zarlingo family has a long tradition of serving their customers and the community.  They have taken pride in caring for the community that has provided a safe and nurturing envirionment for their family.  Their commitment to that community goes beyond customer service in the automotive repair business.  They have been sponsors, donors and volunteers in many community-based organizations.

In 2007, Larry Zarlingo left the business, leaving Bob Zarlingo the company's sole owner.  Bob's commitment to customers and his employee's remains the same.  He will continue to offer great customer service that has been a family tradition for 50 years!  Bob takes great pride in carrying forward the foundation of the automotive repair business, which began with his father, Lee, in 1958.
